When the Watsons first adopted Doris, they also bought her a squeaky bone, which she immediately fell in love with. She cherished it so much that she even slept with it every night.
From then, whenever her mom took her to the grocery store, Doris was sure to point out her beloved toy to her parents, demanding them to buy it again and again.
