If you are already a parent, you’re probably familiar with the struggle of asking your child to stop watching TV. Kids nowadays are so hooked on watching their shows that they are probably spending most of their time in front of it. Apparently, this is true for our fur babies as well.
Although we would like to think that we are our doggo’s world, it’s not easy trying to compete with Disney Channel! The dog in the viral clip below is living proof that our puppers can also get addicted to watching TV. This cute pooch is Sidney, a six-year-old Australian shepherd who loves watching Mickey Mouse.
Aside from Mickey and his friends, Sidney also likes to watch Austin and Alley. But before you go judging her, Sidney is not a couch potato. She also loves playing outside and chasing squirrels in the front yard, just like any other doggo. But during her downtime, she’s all about watching TV
It sounds harmless, but the problem is Sidney wants to binge-watch Disney Channel! Her dog mom noticed this unusual behavior and wanted to see the pup’s reaction if she told her that she will be turning the TV off. Sidney’s human whipped out her phone to record her doggo.
When she started recording, Sidney was actually very apprehensive of her presence. Perhaps this smart pupper had an inkling that her human would want her to stop watching TV. As soon as Sidney’s dog mom told her that she will be switching it off, the pooch reacted right away!
The doggo grabbed the TV remote with her mouth and set it in front of her. Sidney then covered the remote with her paws to “hide” it from her mom. The pooch hilariously gave her mom a couple of quick glares and continued to watch Mickey as if nothing happened. See this quick-thinking pupper in the viral clip below.
