Dogs are one of the most intriguing animals in this world. Just like humans, our canine pals possess various personality types that’ll surely leave us guessing what kind we’re about to interact with.
Taking this into consideration, let’s meet a particular Labrador puppy who generously shares her toys with her fur parents. But, it looks like the pup suddenly grew overprotective of her toy as she reluctantly hands it over Mom.
Give me the ball, Abby.
In this adorable footage, a healthy black-furred Labrador named Abby lies comfortably on their verdant green lawn. At first, it seems Abby’s merely taking a breather after playing under the sun.
However, if you try to get a closer look, you’ll soon see a blue ball sitting right across the pup. Before anyone could decipher what’s happening, Abby’s fur mom starts asking her if she could borrow the ball.
Most puppies by now would’ve eagerly doled their toy to their fur parents, but Abby isn’t like the rest of the dogs. Instead, Abby chooses to look the other way even before Mom finishes asking her question.
Come on, give it to me, Abby.
Seeing this, Mom can’t help but feel flabbergasted with Abby’s reaction. The pup’s usually not like this, but for some unknown reason, Abby’s not eager to share her beloved ball with Mom.
However, Mom refuses to give up on borrowing the ball from Abby. Thus, Mom coaxes the pooch to bring the ball closer to her. At first, Abby begrudgingly complies with Mom’s request as she places the ball a few inches from her before sitting on the grass.
