A tradie got stuck whilst cleaning a septic tank in northern Sydney. He hung upside down, in limbo, with no signs of help coming. Even worse, the water level in the tank was slowly increasing.
However, just when it seemed like all hope was lost, a 13 year old girl happened to be taking her dog out on their daily walk. Spot the Border Collie, sensing something was wrong, began to frantically bark and whimper at the tank.

Noticing her dog’s odd behaviour, the girl quickly called emergency services. She also threw a rope into the tank for the man to hold on to while they waited for the emergency crew.
After nearly an hour, the man was finally freed from his ordeal and was taken to hospital.
Spot was praised for his heroic actions and saving the man from the dangerous ordeal.
This time, the actions of a heroic dog managed to free a man from a tricky situation. But oftentimes, it’s the dog who gets itself into a tricky situation.
