As soon as Amanda Haynes retrieved her dog from the groomer’s, she quickly noticed that something was off.
Initially, Haynes tried telling herself that the dog she collected was indeed her own, even though she noticed that ‘her’ dog had shorter ears and was slightly heavier.
However, when the time came for the dog to hop into the car, she realized without a doubt that the dog she had picked up was not hers.
“When I reached the car, I instantly realized it wasn’t Biscuit because he always has his own car seat and accompanies me everywhere,” Haynes explained.
“The moment he looked like he didn’t know where he was going, I knew that it wasn’t my beloved Biscuit.”
Haynes immediately went back inside and asked them if they had potentially given her the wrong dog, but they swiftly denied any such possibility.
“They assured me, ‘No, that’s definitely Biscuit. The only other doodle we had today was a female, so there couldn’t have been a mix-up,'” she recounted.
After the groomers denied any mistake, Haynes was unsure of what to do so she decided to just bring the dog home. However, the dog started crying on the car ride home and wouldn’t stop.
But just before Haynes got home, she received an unexpected call from the groomers. They had indeed messed up, and Biscuit was still at the shop waiting to be cut.

“How do you misplace a dog??”
While groomers do make mistakes occasionally, many would have drawn the line at misplacing a dog.
“I can’t even see the slightest resemblance between the two dogs. Forgetting and misplacing? I wouldn’t trust them again,”@britneybxoxo3 commented.
Another commenter added, “absolutely do not take Biscuit back there again. I used to handle 75-100 dogs a day, and we never once sent home the wrong dog.
In the comments of another video, Haynes shared that she might never trust Biscuit with a groomer again and intends to learn how to cut his hair herself.
@amandahayxo Replying to @shawnamarshall0 the real biscuit <3 I tried telling them a million times it wasn’t him but they were gaslighting me that he was the only one there so i didnt know what to do 😭 & that dog wouldnt make eye contact with me so I couldn’t get a really good look at him until i looked at the videos after 😩 worst experience ever
