Everyone has a preference, and it’s especially true when it comes to food. And this Corgi named Bubot let his parents know that the snack given to him wasn’t appreciated.
For a breed known for its petite size, this pet needed everything he could get, and a piece of bread isn’t gonna cut it. Bubot loves food, but not all of them.
This furball knew he wouldn’t get his much-needed sustenance from plain bread. Come on, now, mom and dad! Plain bread will never appeal to anyone as a snack unless it had something in it.
The puppy couldn’t tell his parents in words, so he immediately tried to bury the snack under the pillows. Unfortunately for him, mom saw the whole thing and captured it all on tape.
Of course, mom felt offended. She even told dad as she was recording that her feelings were hurt. A snack is a snack, after all, and wasting food is not going to go unnoticed and checked.
To be fair, the dog did look guilty for hiding the piece of plain bread. Could you really blame him for behaving that way, though? When you don’t like something, you don’t like it, period.
No amount of argument would convince you otherwise, so that’s why Bubot’s actions were relatable. Mom, perhaps if you toast the bread a little bit, your furry son would change his mind.
You know what’s best for your puppy, but with what happened here, this suggestion might help. Admit it, plain bread is boring in taste and look, so we need to deal with both factors to make it work.
Bubot’s adorable sad-eye game is strong, and that’s why he didn’t get any more scolding. He didn’t mean to waste food, he just didn’t like its taste. We promise it will be better next time, pet!
