Life can be pretty hard for a young professional. An apartment is basically the only thing you can afford, and living in an apartment has many restrictions. Also, rent for apartments, especially in urban areas, can be expensive. Once you find an apartment and settle, moving to another house or unit is tough.
A woman named Sierra is a young professional who lives in an apartment. She is also an animal lover who regularly volunteers in animal shelters. However, after seeing an ad about Pit Bull puppies being offered for adoption, she decided to save a life and adopt one of the Pit Bulls.
Sierra ended up adopting a Pit Bull puppy named Nilla. However, she also found out that the ad wasn’t entirely honest about the Pit Bull puppies. It turned out that Nilla came from a breeder and was for sale. Knowing that Nilla would just be abandoned if she didn’t buy her, Sierra decided to buy her from the breeder.
Sierra rescued Nilla from people who were only interested in making money out of their puppies. Nilla was already on adult dog food despite being only eight weeks old. She also had several health issues, and the breeder just wanted to get rid of her. The breeder who owned Nilla even offered a significant discount if Sierra chose to buy Nilla.
Soon after buying Nilla from the breeder, she brought her to the veterinarian to get her health assessed. Nilla got the treatment she needed, and by the following week, she looked and felt a lot better.
Everything was going well for Nilla in her new home. Unfortunately, Sierra’s landlord disapproved of Nilla because she is a Pit Bull. The landlord informed Sierra that she either needed to get rid of Nilla or move out. Sierra didn’t have to think twice about her decision and started looking for a new place to stay.
Sierra’s not about to give up on Nilla because her landlord didn’t like Pit Bulls. She’d rather lose her home than abandon a dog in need. Thankfully, Sierra found a new home. What’s even better was that she found a house with a yard, which is better for Nilla.
Moving out of her apartment was a big decision for Sierra, but it was the best she had ever made. Nilla has a huge yard to explore in her new home, where she could do zoomies, chase squirrels, and dig holes. Nilla grew up becoming a sweet and gentle dog who loves people and other dogs.
Nilla is one of the sweetest and most loving dogs in the world. Sierra believes in second chances, and that’s exactly what she gave Nilla. Here’s a video featuring Nilla’s story and how Sierra stood by her even if it meant getting evicted.
