Not every lost dog is fortunate enough to be returned to its owners. That’s why it’s worth celebrating stories of dogs who were found and returned. Often these stories also feature the kind people responsible for making such reunions possible.
On one rainy day, a teenager named Ubaldo Apolinar found a puppy in front of his home. The puppy was trying to find shelter from the harsh weather. Ubaldo made sure the puppy had some food. He also brought out a cardboard box for the dog, so it’s not exposed.
The teenager wanted to bring the puppy inside, but he was not allowed to do so. His parents won’t allow another dog in the house because of a household rule. Their landlord told them that only one pet is allowed inside the house.
Despite being told not to take the dog inside, he sneaked her in when his parents were asleep. He couldn’t leave the puppy alone outside. Ubaldo was worried about what might happen to it if left outside.
Ubaldo had no idea where the puppy came from. Still, he was determined to return it to whoever its owner was. Ubaldo took to social media to find the person who lost a puppy near their area.
After some time, Ubaldo got a message from someone claiming to be the puppy’s owner. He checked that person’s Facebook profile to see if the claim was true. After confirming that the person was indeed the owner, Ubaldo coordinated with them to return the puppy.
Before returning the dog to its owner, Ubaldo spent time with it for the last time. He brought it out for a walk and allowed it to play with some toys. After that, Ubaldo did what he had to do. He went to the owner’s address and returned the puppy to where it belonged.
