In Serbia, the Dog Rescue Shelter received a call about a stray dog with puppies. The caller said they tried everything to feed and draw the dogs’ attention. However, the puppies’ mother only refused, so the caller decided to report it to the shelter.
When the rescuers arrived, the mother dog appeared to be trembling and starving in the grass with her puppies. The man from the rescue team approached her, and, surprisingly, she did not snarl or refuse him. She seemed trusting, as if she knew they were there to help her and her cute puppies.
The rescuer fed the dog and made her feel comfortable. While the mama dog was eating, the rescuer picked up the two puppies he had found in the grass nearby and kissed them to express his love and sympathy. Soon after, he placed the two puppies at their mother’s breast to drink milk.
Once the dogs were ready to be transported, the rescuer scanned the area once again and found another puppy. So, he picked it up right away and brought it to her mother. They were all transported to a place where they could relax and feel safe.
The mother dog was named Moli, while the puppies were Luna, Lion, and Linda. They stayed in a wonderful foster home where they were loved and cared for. Moreover, Moli made friends with a kitten named Megi, with whom she enjoyed playing when not doing her mama duties.
After three months, when the pups were ready for adoption, they were all adopted by caring families who promised to give them a good life. Thanks to the Dog Rescue Shelter, the dogs survived starvation, and they now enjoy happy lives with their new families.
