It’s definitely safe to say that most dog owners spoil their dogs. We make sure that they’re always happy and we do this by buying them only the best dog food and we also buy them toys to keep them entertained. We also spend a significant amount of our time with our dogs.
A dog named Kevin has been with his family for four years. He is loved and spoiled by every member of the household and he loves the attention he gets. Kevin’s mom, Carleigh Johnson Stroup, even states that there’s never a moment when Kevin isn’t laying down with them on the couch or the bed. He’s the baby of the family and he’s enjoying his role.
However, Kevin’s life was about to change when Carleigh and her husband decided to adopt a new puppy named Lyle. When the couple introduced Kevin to his new doggie sibling, Kevin wasn’t so pleased or excited as they expected. Kevin even made a face that looked like he was judging his mom and dad and telling them that they made the wrong decision.
There was a little hint of jealousy in Kevin’s eyes and he knew that he’s no longer the darling of the family. Kevin also knows that his life will never be the same with Lyle in the picture. Lyle has a personality that’s the complete opposite of Kevin.
While Kevin is quieter and more laid back, Lyle is the mischievous one that loves to play and annoy Kevin. Lyle adores Kevin and he always follows him around the house. Kevin wasn’t as enthusiastic about having another dog follow him around and annoy him.
However, Lyle’s persistence to play with his big brother Kevin paid off. It’s safe to say that Lyle grew on Kevin and Kevin’s loving his new role as a big brother. Kevin eventually learned to love Lyle and they both became inseparable.
Kevin realized that his humans still loves him as much and it doesn’t hurt to share that love with his new little brother. Here’s a heartwarming video showing Kevin’s hilarious reaction when he was surprised with a new puppy brother.
