Nothing means more to a doggo than their dog pack. Our furry best buddies are pack animals when we domesticated them, and apparently, they still have that same mentality even today. Dog experts say that we, their dog parents, are actually regarded as the pack leader, and that’s something that we should take pride in.
Since we belong to their pack, they will always protect us whenever we are in danger, and that’s not an exaggeration. We’ve seen countless videos of doggos fighting off bears, mountain lions, and people with bad intentions, simply because they don’t want any harm to come our way.
But despite their unwavering loyalty to us humans, our little furballs haven’t forgotten about their own kind. People who have two or more doggos at home will agree that dogs are also ready to protect other puppers in the pack, and seeing a dog protect another dog is a sight to behold.
This is the behavior exhibited by the bulldog in the video below. At the start of this amazing clip, we can see two young goats facing off with a puppy. The little pooch must’ve been curious about these creatures, so she tried to approach them.
However, when the puppy got too close, one of the baby goats headbutted her! Poor pupper! The puppy retreated at first, but then she started barking at the goat who hit her. The young goat then posed as if he was going to headbutt the pup again.
But seconds later, a large bulldog came along, and the sight of this much bigger doggo immediately caused the young goats to retreat. They were so scared of the bulldog that they moved further away as they didn’t want any trouble from the colossal canine. These goats will definitely think twice about headbutting the puppy next time.
