It’s no secret when parents favor a child or a pet over his or her siblings. Children and pets also tend to have a favorite parent, depending on which one is cooler or nicer.

Alicia and Nathan McNeese adopted Bristol when she was a puppy. They recalled that she was equally sweet to everyone.
But as time went by, Alicia noticed that Bristol liked spending more time with her husband, Nathan. Being all grown up now, Bristol made it clear to Alicia that Nathan was hers, and she wasn’t willing to share.
Instead of being mad about it, Alicia finds the situation quite hilarious. She has never seen a dog that’s excessively attached to her owner.
To count the ways, Alicia shared that Bristol likes to cuddle with Nathan on the couch while watching TV. And when Alicia wants to join them, Bristol just gives an intimidating look to Alicia, hoping that she’ll walk away.
Sometimes, Bristol would be snuggled next to Nathan before Alicia could take her rightful place on the bed. But because of the dog’s tiny size, Alicia still manages to squeeze in.
Alicia decided to share their funny love triangle in a Tiktok video. When the three of them took a road trip, Alicia rested her head on her husband’s shoulder.
When she returned to an upright position, Bristol gave a jealous look on her face and immediately repeated the gesture of placing her head on Nathan’s shoulder but had no intention of getting off.
That way, she’ll have Nathan all to herself. The parents just burst into laughter. Nathan knows everything about the competition between his wife and dog for his attention.
He finds it entertaining, but he loves them both equally.
Despite the wife and dog’s quarrel over the man of the house, they both know that they love each other. It’s just that Bristol seems to love her dad more than her mom.
