Entries Open! Do You Own The World’s Ugliest Dog?

Megan Hurley March 9, 2023

Have you got the world’s ugliest dog?

Applications are open for this year’s world’s ugliest dog award. Will you submit an application?

The aim of the competition isn’t to name and shame ugly dogs. In fact, it’s the complete opposite.

Their goal is to celebrate the “imperfections that make all dogs special and unique,” according to the website.

Celebrating Ugliness

The World’s Ugliest Dog Contest is an opportunity to celebrate the unique personalities of some remarkable canines. It demonstrates that they are truly gorgeous regardless of their physical appearance.

To participate in the competition, applicants must submit an application including a photo, short biography description, and vaccination records.

The official competition will be hosted at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in California on June 23rd. And all the dogs will be judged in a single group, instead of by breed.
