But move aside, there’s a new iconic duet that will take the world by storm.
In a heartwarming tale that blossomed during the pandemic, Pamela Quinn and her talented pup Casper became an extraordinary musical duo.

Their journey took an exciting turn when they were invited to showcase their incredible talents on America’s Got Talent.
The success was an unlikely one for Casper to say the least. He was a rescue dog until Quinn adopted him when he was just 3 months old.
Reflecting on their initial meeting, Quinn said, “He was the largest pup among his litter and had already spent three weeks at the rescue, often being overlooked in favor of smaller puppies.”
“I didn’t go with the intention of getting a dog that day, but rather to satisfy the puppy fever that I had been hit with for months,” she added.
Instant connection
The moment Quinn laid eyes on Casper, a connection sparked between them.
“I vividly recall cradling Casper in the palm of my hand and he just had so much personality and energy, even at such a young age,” Quinn remembered fondly.
“I definitely felt a connection with Casper instantly, yet surprisingly, I walked away without him. But I felt this overwhelming feeling that I had left my dog behind that I couldn’t shake off.”
“So I went back and brought him home!”

Did you know that dogs like music?
In a fascinating study conducted by the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and the University of Glasgow, it was discovered that our furry friends have their own taste in tunes.
Researchers wanted to see what effects (if any) there were on a dog’s behavior if they were played various genres of music.
Professor Neil Evans, one of the researchers involved in the study, shared some fascinating findings, stating, “Our four-legged friends displayed a mixed response to different genres, indicating that, just like humans, dogs may have their own unique music preferences.”
“Interestingly, it was discovered that reggae music and soft rock had the most positive impact on their behavior.”
Casper wasn’t always a big fan of music.
“When he was still a young pup, he didn’t have much of a voice,” said Quinn. “He would make these weird noises all the time as if he were trying to bark, which might never come.”
However, everything changed when Casper was approximately one year old.
“I was strumming my guitar and singing for this small musical I had been creating,” Quinn recalled. “Out of nowhere, Casper made a sound that made my eyes widen and left my jaw hanging.”
“It occasionally happens even to this day, and it still never fails to astonish me.”
What was initially a mere ‘party trick’ became something truly extraordinary, where it eventually led to the pair auditioning for America’s Got Talent in 2021.
“We had a blast,” said Quinn. “I felt more nervous performing alongside Casper on that stage than for anything in my entire life. Casper shined bright that day, and thankfully the judges thoroughly enjoyed the humor of the whole thing.”
Still performing
Even with his encounters with fame, Casper has always remained grounded, remembering his humble beginnings on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
One particular clip captures Casper joining in to Quinn singing “You Are My Sunshine.” As they reach the end of the song, he signs off with a signature howl.

The short and sweet performance has proved to be very popular among online viewers.
A viewer describes Casper’s howl as the ‘perfect ending’, while another added, “Casper adds so much emotion to the song!”
Quinn added her own comment on the video, saying, “You can tell that Casper absolutely loves this song and is just waiting to sing his heart out. When he joins in, he copies a wolfpack’s howl with me when sings. He loves to get loud and is proud of it.”
“Singing is his favorite hobby, and I truly believe that he’d be an opera star by now if he were a human,” Quinn added.
