Most dogs find it okay to eat with their bowl on the floor but not Murphy. He prefers a dining experience that is a bit different from his fellow pups. For Murphy, eating should be done while chilling because that is how it is done in his family.
Murphy’s breakthrough happened about two years ago. It was dinnertime, and, like they always do, Murphy’s family filled his bowl with food in the kitchen and left him there to eat. Then, they settled into the other room, where they watch the television while eating their meal. Not wanting to be left out, Murphy suddenly decided to join his family and acted like it was not a big deal.

Audrey Waito, Murphy’s mom, recalled that it happened while she and her daughter were sitting at the opposite ends of the couch and eating their dinner. Suddenly, Murphy hopped in between them while holding his bowl with his mouth. Then, Murphy gently placed his bowl down and started to eat.
That one-time experience must have made Murphy realize how nice and comfortable it was to eat on the couch. So, he decided that from then on, that is where he will have his meal. Thankfully, Murphy’s family does not mind their dog eating with them on the couch and even welcome the pup there.

Usually, Murphy is cautious not to spill his food while carrying the bowl. However, mishaps sometimes happen. So now, when mealtime comes, Audrey saves her dog the trouble. She puts Murphy’s bowl on his spot on the couch.
For Murphy, he is a bonafide member of the Waito family. He even dines on the couch like everyone else to prove it. And, it seems like he is right about that. According to Audrey, Murphy is her child, and he is a spoiled one.
