A study has found that nearly a third of all dog owners have admitted that they let their dogs poo, then flee the scene of the crime.
Dog excrement is disgusting, awful to look at, and terrible for nature, yet around 28% of dog owners say they don’t always bag it.

Some dog owners simply don’t care about other people (or even their own pets!) In a new survey of 2000 dog owners, 28% of respondents admitted that they’ve walked off without picking up their dog’s poop.

Something that’s even worse are dog owners who bag up the dog poop and throw it over a wall, in a hedge, or hang it off a tree branch.
How hard is it for them to take it home or put it in a bin?
Not only are they preserving the poo, they’re also contributing more plastic pollution to our environment as well.
But it turns into compost?
If you think that you’re doing good for the environment by leaving your dog’s poop on the ground, then think again.
Even though dog excrements are packed with nitrogen and phosphorus, they are actually considered more as pollution rather than fertiliser.
Always remember to take a couple of dog poop bags with you whenever you leave the house with your dog.
